Upcoming OTOP Fair Expected to Generate 800 Million Baht

According to Khaosod Online, the Thai Ministry of Interior, through the Community Development Department, is organizing the 'Silapacheep Prateep Thai OTOP' fair for 2026. The event is scheduled to take place from August 8 to 16 at the Challenger 1-3 halls of IMPACT Muang Thong Thani.

Deputy Minister of Interior Polphee Suwannachwee stated that the fair will feature products from over 2,000 vendors across the country. A key highlight of this year's event is the integration of the 'Thai Chuay Thai Plus 60/40' scheme, which allows attendees to use their benefits as discounts on purchases. Officials anticipate that the event will generate at least 800 million baht in economic circulation, providing direct income to local artisans, raw material producers, and community networks nationwide.
