According to Khaosod Online, the tortoise, owned by Ms. Nalinthorn, is a male African spurred tortoise—the third-largest tortoise species in the world—known for its ability to navigate back home independently after walks.

While the owner stated she does not participate in gambling, she noted that several locals, particularly a nearby laundry shop owner, frequently interact with the animal. These individuals claim that their interactions with Folk have helped them win the lottery over ten times. During the recent market visit, a local fish vendor reported seeing the numbers '8' and '0' on the tortoise's shell, which she intends to use for upcoming lottery draws.
