Krungsri Bank Launches Flood Relief Measures for Customers

Bank of Ayudhya (Krungsri) has introduced urgent financial relief measures for individuals and SME clients affected by ongoing flooding in Thailand.

On September 27, 2026, Bank of Ayudhya (Krungsri) announced a series of emergency financial relief measures aimed at supporting customers impacted by the current flooding in Bangkok and other affected provinces. According to Khaosod Online, the initiative covers a wide range of financial products, including personal loans, home loans, auto loans, credit cards, and SME financing.

For personal, home, and small SME loan customers, the bank is offering options to reduce monthly installments for up to six months or to suspend principal payments while continuing to pay interest for up to three months. Additionally, Krungsri Auto is providing a three-month installment deferral, while Krungsri Consumer is allowing eligible credit card and personal loan holders to pause payments for up to three billing cycles.

For residents and expatriates in Thailand, these measures are significant as they provide a buffer against the immediate financial strain caused by property damage or business disruption due to the floods. Those seeking to utilize these relief options are advised to contact their local Krungsri branch to confirm their eligibility and submit a formal request. It remains to be confirmed how long these relief programs will remain open for applications and whether further extensions will be granted if the flood situation persists.
