Fatal Car Accident in Chalong, Phuket
A single-vehicle collision in Phuket has resulted in one fatality and three injuries, with authorities currently investigating the cause.
On the night of September 26, 2026, a serious traffic accident occurred at the intersection near Soi Thanuthep in Chalong, Phuket. According to reports from Khaosod Online, a white Toyota Vios registered in Krabi lost control and collided violently with an electricity pole. The impact caused significant damage to the front of the vehicle.
Emergency responders from the Chalong Police Station and the Phuket Ruamjai Rescue Foundation arrived at the scene to assist the victims. Three individuals were transported to Chalong Hospital for medical treatment, while one person was confirmed deceased and taken to Vachira Phuket Hospital. CCTV footage from Chao Fa West Road captured the vehicle traveling from Mueang Phuket toward the Chalong Circle before the crash occurred.
