Police and Air Force Officer Save Teenager from Electrocution During Flooding
A 15-year-old boy was rescued by off-duty officers after suffering an electric shock in a flooded Don Mueang home.
On the morning of September 26, 2026, a 15-year-old boy was saved following a life-threatening electric shock in his home located in Soi Wat Weluwanaram 9, Don Mueang district. According to Khaosod Online, the incident occurred amidst heavy rainfall and rising floodwaters that had entered the residence.
Two individuals, Police Lance Corporal Wanchalerm Phonpattana of the Crowd Control Division and Air Force Captain Hathai-chanok On-chai, happened to be passing by and intervened immediately. The rescuers performed CPR and utilized an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) seven times to stabilize the victim. They subsequently transported the teenager through the flooded streets to Thotsamintharat (Sikan) Hospital, where he was placed under medical care.
