Search Underway for Four Escaped Crocodiles in Flooded Sa Kaeo
Authorities are searching for four crocodiles that escaped a farm in Sa Kaeo province following severe flooding, with officials urging residents to avoid nearby waters.
According to a report by Khaosod Online, four crocodiles, each measuring approximately two meters in length, have escaped from the Golden Place Nava Farm in Khao Chakan District, Sa Kaeo Province. The escape occurred amidst severe flooding currently affecting the region, which has forced some local residents to seek safety by climbing trees.
Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, Suchart Chomklin, stated that Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, who is currently on an overseas mission, issued an urgent directive to locate and secure the animals to prevent harm to the public. Search teams have been mobilized to the area to track the reptiles.
For residents and travelers in the vicinity, authorities have issued a strong warning to avoid entering floodwaters and to stay away from the area surrounding the farm.
