A family of four was rescued after their vehicle was swept away by strong currents in Chachoengsao province while following GPS navigation despite local warnings.

The four individuals managed to escape the vehicle and cling to a rubber tree amidst heavy rain and turbulent water. Local disaster prevention and mitigation officials from the Tha Kradan Subdistrict Administrative Organization arrived at the scene and conducted a rescue operation using ropes. The victims were successfully brought to safety after approximately 30 minutes. The driver stated that she was traveling from Bangkok toward Sa Kaeo province when the incident occurred.
