The Thailand Government Public Relations Department has announced that the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) is actively monitoring flood-prone areas and water stagnation points across the capital. To facilitate rapid response, the BMA has designated two primary communication channels for the public. Individuals encountering significant water accumulation or safety risks related to drainage can contact the BMA hotline at 1555. Alternatively, reports can be directed to the specific district office (khet) responsible for the area where the issue is observed. There are 50 district offices across Bangkok equipped to handle these local reports.

For travelers and residents, this information is particularly relevant during periods of heavy rainfall, as localized flooding can disrupt transportation and daily activities.
