According to the report, the MP and his relatives were among those who paid the fee for four vehicles. While the operating company later announced that parking would be provided free of charge for those affected by the floods, they reportedly refused to refund the fees already collected from earlier arrivals. MP Boonravee has publicly committed to securing refunds for the hundreds of citizens impacted by this charge, characterizing the initial collection as an act of extortion during a time of crisis.
