Bus Services Suspended on Five Eastern Routes Due to Severe Flooding

According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand on September 26, 2026, The Transport Co., Ltd. (BKS) has confirmed that severe flooding caused by persistent heavy rainfall has forced the temporary suspension of five bus routes in the eastern region.

Operators have halted services on the following routes until conditions improve:

• Route 46: Bangkok–Rayong (Old Route)
• Route 48: Bangkok–Pattaya (Van services only)
• Routes 914/917: Bangkok–Chanthaburi–Trat (operated by Thanatawee Transport Co., Ltd.)
• Route 9916: Bangkok–Wang Nam Yen–Khlong Hat
• Route 9916: Bangkok–Sa Kaeo–Aranyaprathet–Rong Kluea Market

For travelers and residents, this disruption means that transit plans involving these specific routes should be adjusted. BKS has advised passengers to allow extra time when traveling to bus terminals. While these partner-operated routes are currently suspended, BKS stated that its own direct bus services continue to operate as scheduled across all routes.
