Chinese tea brand Heytea has officially entered the Thai market, opening its first Southeast Asian 'Heytea Lab' at CentralWorld in Bangkok.
According to Khaosod Online, the Chinese tea brand Heytea has officially launched its first location in Thailand, situated on the first floor of the CentralWorld shopping center in Bangkok. This new establishment is designated as a 'Heytea Lab,' marking the brand's first such experimental concept store in Southeast Asia and only its third location outside of China.
The venue features an integrated space combining a tea lab, a bake lab, and a gelato lab, allowing customers to observe the preparation process in an open-kitchen environment. The menu offers a variety of tea-based beverages, baked goods, and gelato, with prices ranging from 90 to 195 baht.
For residents and travelers, this opening represents a new addition to Thailand's competitive fresh-brewed beverage market. Heytea, which originated in 2012, is widely recognized for pioneering the 'New-Style Tea' trend, including the popularization of cheese-topped tea. While the store is now operational, potential visitors should note that the brand's popularity may lead to high foot traffic during the initial launch period.
