Thai athletes Nattanicha Jongprongklang and Sakda Ruamtham have secured spots in the quarter-finals of the boxing tournament at the 2026 Asian Games in Japan.

In the men’s 60kg division, Sakda Ruamtham, a police officer from Nong Bua Lamphu and a SEA Games gold medalist, also successfully navigated his round of 16 match against an Iranian opponent to join Nattanicha in the next stage of the competition.
