Authorities have cordoned off a residential area in Bangkok's Bang Phlat district after a man set fire to his home, leading to the discovery of explosives and military-grade firearms.
On the morning of September 25, 2026, police from the Bang Phlat station responded to reports of a man setting fire to his own residence in Soi Charan Sanitwong 67, Bangkok. According to Khaosod Online, the suspect, identified as the son of a retired Major General, fired shots at responding officers, forcing them to take cover.
