Fire Destroys Home of Renowned Nora Artist in Phatthalung
A fire broke out in a single-story home in Phatthalung province, causing significant damage to property and equipment belonging to a well-known Nora performer.
On September 25, 2026, at approximately 02:30, emergency services in Phatthalung province responded to a residential fire in Khuan Maphrao sub-district. According to Khaosod Online, firefighters from the Phatthalung Provincial Administrative Organization were dispatched to the scene after reports of smoke and flames emanating from a single-story house.
The fire originated in a central room used for storage, which contained various items including ritual offerings, incense, curtains, and electronic equipment, including a computer. The intensity of the blaze caused the ceiling to collapse and resulted in extensive damage to the property, including an air conditioning unit and other stored belongings. Firefighters were able to bring the situation under control after a period of effort.
Initial estimates place the total property damage at no less than 300,000 baht.
