On the evening of September 24, 2026, 40-year-old Jakkrit Suwannarat, locally known as 'Mor Boy,' was fatally shot while dining at his residence in the Phanang Tung sub-district of Phatthalung province. According to Khaosod Online, police were notified of the incident at approximately 9:53 p.m.
Investigators found the victim, a traditional herbal medicine practitioner, deceased under a dining table with two gunshot wounds to the right temple. Preliminary findings suggest the perpetrator may have used a scoped firearm to target the victim from a nearby rubber plantation while he was socializing with friends.
