On September 24, 2026, authorities in Ban Khai District, Rayong, arrested 38-year-old Thanasak, also known as 'Earn,' in connection with the death of a 54-year-old man identified as Boonmee. According to Khaosod Online, the incident occurred earlier that morning at a residential area in Soi Nai Chak, Chak Bok sub-district.
Reports indicate that the two men were consuming alcohol together when a dispute escalated. The suspect confessed to police that he felt provoked after the victim allegedly challenged him and attempted to attack him with a knife first. Following this confrontation, the suspect reportedly retrieved a weapon and returned to inflict fatal wounds to the victim's head and face. Police successfully tracked and detained the suspect by the evening of the same day.
