Prosecutors to Decide on Forex-3D Charges Against Pawut and Film Rattapoom on October 5
Thai authorities have submitted files recommending the indictment of 34 individuals, including a politician and a celebrity, in the Forex-3D pyramid scheme case.
On September 24, 2026, investigators from the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) delivered a massive case file to the Office of the Attorney General regarding the Forex-3D pyramid scheme. The submission includes 102 folders containing over 40,000 pages of evidence, detailing allegations against 34 suspects, including 10 corporate entities and 24 individuals.
Among the high-profile individuals named in the investigation are Pawut Pongvitayapanu, a party-list MP for the People's Party, and former celebrity singer Film Rattapoom Tokongsup. The DSI has recommended that prosecutors charge the suspects with several serious offenses, including public fraud, operating a pyramid scheme, violating the Computer Crimes Act, and money laundering.
