Panyapiwat Institute to Launch 'Skill Transcript' for Graduates by 2027

The Panyapiwat Institute of Management (PIM) has announced the development of a 'PIM Skill Transcript,' a new initiative designed to complement traditional bachelor's degrees. According to Prachachat Business, the transcript will serve as a formal record of the practical skills and hands-on experience students acquire during their internships and work-integrated learning programs.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sompop Manarungsan, President of PIM, indicated that this initiative aims to provide employers with a more comprehensive view of a graduate's capabilities beyond academic grades. By documenting specific competencies gained through real-world application, the institute hopes to better prepare students for the modern workforce. The program is scheduled to launch as a pilot project for the first group of students in 2027.
