According to a report by Khaosod Online, health officials in Phatthalung province are investigating a beauty clinic following complaints from multiple patients who suffered complications after undergoing nose enhancement procedures. Patients reported that the sutures used did not dissolve, leading to severe inflammation, and alleged that the clinic refused to take responsibility for the outcomes.

Mr. Pinitsin Phetmanee, acting on behalf of the Phatthalung Provincial Public Health Office, stated that while the practitioner involved holds a valid medical license, the clinic itself had not yet received official authorization to operate. Despite this, the facility had already begun providing services to the public.

For residents and visitors, this incident highlights the importance of verifying the legal status of medical and aesthetic facilities before undergoing procedures. While the practitioner is licensed, the lack of facility authorization raises significant concerns regarding safety standards and the quality of the products used. Authorities are currently conducting further inspections to determine if the materials utilized in the procedures meet medical standards. Officials have encouraged affected individuals to file formal police reports at the Mueang Phatthalung Police Station to pursue legal action.
