Thai singer 'Nene Royal' has brought international attention to traditional hand-woven fabrics from Nong Bua Lamphu province by wearing them during the America’s Got Talent 2026 competition.
During a parliamentary session on September 24, 2026, Pheu Thai Party MP Rungphet Srikanchana highlighted the cultural achievement of Thai singer Rattikan Amloy, known as 'Nene Royal.' The singer, who reached the finals of the America’s Got Talent 2026 competition, chose to wear garments made from the 'Dut Dao' (Star-like) fabric, a traditional hand-woven textile originating from Nong Bua Lamphu province.
MP Rungphet praised the singer for promoting Thai cultural identity on a global platform, noting that the initiative was supported by the Purisa Thai Fabric Club. The MP emphasized that this act elevates local craftsmanship, transforming traditional village weaving into a symbol of national pride. To show his support, the MP wore a garment made from the same fabric during the parliamentary meeting.
