Four Street Racers Sentenced in Bangkok
A Thai court has sentenced four members of a street racing group to prison and ordered the confiscation of their vehicles following illegal activities on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road.
On September 23, 2026, the Don Mueang District Court issued a ruling against four individuals associated with a street racing group known as “TEENOSIE.” The defendants were sentenced to one month in prison, fined 10,000 baht each, and had their four vehicles confiscated by the state. Additionally, their driving licenses were suspended.
The legal action followed an investigation by the Vibhavadi Rangsit Traffic Control Center, which gathered evidence of the group engaging in high-speed racing on public roads. Police Lieutenant General Nitithorn Jintakanon, representing the Royal Thai Police Traffic Management Center, emphasized that authorities are actively monitoring and prosecuting those who participate in illegal street racing or drive in a manner that disregards public safety.
