Authorities Raid Large Illegal Gambling Den in Din Daeng
Thai officials conducted a major operation in Bangkok's Din Daeng district, arresting approximately 50 individuals at an illegal gambling facility.
On the evening of September 23, 2026, a joint task force led by the Department of Provincial Administration (DOPA) executed a raid on an illegal gambling operation located within the Din Daeng flats on Soi Ruam Rak, Prachasongkhro Road. According to Khaosod Online, the operation involved high-ranking officials, including Deputy Minister of Interior Worasit Liangprasert, alongside members of the House Committee on Anti-Money Laundering and the House Committee on Local Administration.
The raid resulted in the arrest of approximately 50 gamblers and the seizure of significant evidence. The DOPA S.W.A.T. team and volunteer defense corps carried out the operation to dismantle the illicit facility.
