Thai Customs Reports Strong Revenue Growth for Fiscal Year 2026
The Thai Customs Department has announced an 11-month revenue collection exceeding 630 billion baht, marking a 10% increase compared to the previous year.
According to a report by Prachachat Business, the Thai Customs Department has released its revenue performance data for the first 11 months of the 2026 fiscal year. The agency successfully collected over 630 billion baht, representing a growth of more than 10% compared to the same period in the previous year. Additionally, the department reported that 'first-baht' tax collections reached 4.6 billion baht.
Despite these gains, Customs Director-General Phanthong Loikullanun indicated that total revenue for the fiscal year is expected to fall slightly short of the overall target. Looking ahead, the revenue collection target for the 2027 fiscal year has been maintained at 116 billion baht.
For residents and expatriates, these figures reflect the ongoing fiscal health and administrative efficiency of Thailand’s customs operations.
