Authorities have dismissed viral social media claims of a catastrophic flood in Rayong, though residents are advised to remain cautious of localized water accumulation.
On September 23, 2026, the Rayong Meteorological Station officially addressed widespread social media rumors predicting a 'great flood' in Rayong province. Niradee Wongkamjadpai, Director of the station, confirmed that these reports are false and urged the public not to panic or spread misinformation.
