Thai Police and LINE Thailand Partner to Combat Online Crime
The Royal Thai Police and LINE Thailand have signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance public safety and online crime prevention through the LINE TODAY platform.
On September 23, 2026, the Royal Thai Police (RTP) and LINE Company (Thailand) Ltd. officially entered into a partnership aimed at strengthening public safety and digital security. The memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed by Police General Kitrat Phanphet, Commissioner-General of the Royal Thai Police, and Norasit Sittivejvitchakul, Chief Operating Officer of LINE Thailand, at the RTP headquarters.
According to Khaosod Online, the primary objective of this collaboration is to utilize the LINE TODAY platform as a channel for disseminating critical information regarding online threat prevention. By leveraging LINE’s extensive user base in Thailand, the authorities intend to provide the public with timely updates and educational content to help residents and visitors identify and avoid digital scams and cybercrimes.
