Skeletal Remains of Retired Teacher Discovered in Abandoned Chachoengsao Home
A retired science teacher, missing for a decade, was found deceased in an abandoned house near the Chachoengsao bus terminal.
On September 23, 2026, authorities in Chachoengsao province discovered human skeletal remains inside an abandoned house located near the provincial bus terminal on the Chachoengsao-Bang Pakong road. According to Khaosod Online, the deceased has been identified as a 70-year-old former science teacher from Benjamaracharungsarit School who had been missing for approximately ten years.
Police and rescue teams arrived at the scene to find the remains alongside scattered household items. Notably, a sedan was found parked next to the property, stripped of its parts and wheels, with various mechanic tools left nearby. Local residents, who were unaware of the teacher's death for the past decade, have expressed deep sympathy and are planning to hold a merit-making ceremony to offer prayers for the deceased, as they believe no one has performed such rites for him since his passing.
For residents and visitors, this incident highlights the presence of neglected properties in the area. While the discovery provides closure regarding the teacher's long-term disappearance, several details remain under investigation by the Mueang Chachoengsao Police Station.
