This initiative follows significant interest from the private sector, with approximately 2,000 operators expressing interest in participating in the government’s solar rooftop project, which aims to reach 1.5 million households.
The Ministry of Industry is leading this effort to prevent the influx of low-quality products into the market. By requiring official certification, the government intends to integrate safety standards across all dimensions of solar energy installation.
