Matichon and BDI Partner to Develop National Thai AI Model

Matichon, a prominent Thai media organization, has announced a strategic partnership with the Big Data Institute (BDI) to develop a specialized Thai Large Language Model (ThaiLLM). The initiative aims to address a significant gap in global AI development, as the BDI reports that Thai-language content currently accounts for only 0.4% of data on the global internet.
