Abbot of Wat Yang Kuang Elevated to Royal Ecclesiastical Rank

On September 22, 2026, a formal ceremony was held at Wat Yang Kuang in Chiang Mai to celebrate the elevation of the temple's abbot, Phra Khru Palad Theenawat Yan-sittiwathi, to the royal ecclesiastical rank of 'Phra Wachirasitthiyan'. This honor was bestowed by His Majesty the King of Thailand.
