Mars Invests 7 Billion Baht in New Pringles Factory in Chonburi
Global food giant Mars has announced a 7 billion baht investment to establish a major Pringles production facility in Chonburi, Thailand.
According to Prachachat Business, Mars has officially launched a new Pringles manufacturing plant in Chonburi, Thailand. The facility spans 73,800 square meters and is designed to serve as a strategic production and export hub for the Asia-Pacific, Middle East, and African markets. Gabriel Fernandez, the company's regional executive president, emphasized that Thailand remains a critical location for their long-term manufacturing strategy.
For residents and expatriates, this investment signals continued industrial growth in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) region, potentially boosting local employment and supply chain activity. The company has also indicated plans to expand its operations further, with a third production line scheduled to open by the end of 2026.
