A homeowner in Thanyaburi has reported two consecutive incidents of electrical wire theft, prompting local concerns regarding neighborhood security.
According to a report by Khaosod Online, a 49-year-old resident in the Prachathipat sub-district of Pathum Thani’s Thanyaburi district filed a police report on September 22, 2026, following a theft at her home. The victim, identified as Ms. Nalinrat, stated that thieves entered her property and cut electrical wiring, resulting in damages estimated at 40,000 baht. This incident, which occurred on September 20, marks the second time the home has been targeted in this manner.
Ms. Nalinrat has requested that investigators review local CCTV footage to identify the perpetrators. The recurring nature of these thefts has caused significant distress and anxiety among local residents regarding their personal safety and property security. The victim has publicly urged the Pratu Nam Chula Longkorn Police Station to expedite the investigation and apprehend those responsible to restore a sense of security to the community.
