Finance Minister Proposes Key Appointments for Ministry Continuity
Finance Minister Ekniti Nitithanprapas has proposed the appointment of six senior officials to ensure the continuity of fiscal and economic policies.
According to a report by Prachachat Business, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Ekniti Nitithanprapas has announced plans to submit a proposal to the Cabinet for the appointment of six high-ranking officials within the Ministry of Finance. The strategy focuses on retaining experienced internal personnel to maintain momentum in ongoing economic projects.
Key proposed appointments include Salakjit to the position of Director-General of the Revenue Department, and Pornchai to continue his leadership at the Excise Department, where he is expected to oversee the ongoing development of the electric vehicle (EV) sector. Minister Ekniti emphasized that these selections are intended to ensure that the ministry’s administrative and policy-driven tasks proceed without interruption.
