93-Year-Old Retired Officer Donates Land to Priest Hospital
Group Captain (Special) Manassiri Ampunant has donated four plots of land to the Priest Hospital to support the care of ailing monks and novices.
On September 22, 2026, the Priest Hospital in Thailand announced a significant charitable contribution from Group Captain (Special) Manassiri Ampunant, aged 93. According to a report by Khaosod Online, the retired officer donated four plots of vacant land to the institution to assist in the medical care and support of monks and novices suffering from illnesses.
The donation consists of three plots measuring 200 square wah each, and one additional plot measuring 60 square wah. The handover was formally accepted by the hospital’s deputy director of administration, Mr. Mon Deeduangphan, and the head of general administration, Sergeant Major Rewat Srihokaew, who expressed gratitude to the donor and her family on behalf of the hospital.
