Siam Inter Auction (SIAA) Files for IPO to Expand Operations
Leading vehicle auction firm SIAA has filed for an IPO on the Market for Alternative Investment (mai) to fund facility expansion and technology upgrades.
According to Prachachat Business, Siam Inter Auction (SIAA), a prominent player in the Thai vehicle auction market, has officially filed a registration statement (filing) to launch an Initial Public Offering (IPO). The company plans to offer up to 94.1 million shares, representing 32% of its total post-offering equity, with the goal of listing on the Market for Alternative Investment (mai).
SIAA intends to utilize the capital raised to expand its auction yards and invest in advanced technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and automation systems to streamline its operations. Financial disclosures indicate that the company reported a net profit of 180.71 million baht in 2025. However, performance data for the first half of 2026 shows a decline, with net profit recorded at 45.79 million baht.
For residents and investors, this move signals a significant shift in the automotive secondary market, as the company seeks to modernize its infrastructure. While the filing marks a major step toward public listing, the final approval from regulators and the specific timeline for the IPO launch remain to be confirmed. Potential investors and stakeholders should monitor further announcements regarding the offering price and the official trading debut date.
