BDI and Matichon Partner to Advance ThaiLLM Development

The Big Data Institute (BDI), under the leadership of Director Prof. Dr. Teeranee Achalakul, has officially partnered with the media organization Matichon to bolster the development of ThaiLLM. This initiative focuses on integrating high-quality Thai language datasets into the model, which is a critical step toward establishing a National Data Bank for AI.

The primary objective of this collaboration is to strengthen Thailand's AI sovereignty by ensuring that the country possesses the technological infrastructure and linguistic data necessary to support domestic artificial intelligence systems.
