PEA Expands Electricity Access in Rural Nakhon Ratchasima

On September 20, 2026, Deputy Minister of Interior Phonpee Suwanachwee presided over the inauguration of the third phase of the Provincial Electricity Authority’s (PEA) rural electrification project. The ceremony took place in Ban Nong Prue, located in the Huai Thalaeng District of Nakhon Ratchasima province.

According to Khaosod Online, the initiative aims to improve living standards and economic opportunities for residents in remote areas by expanding the electrical grid. To facilitate this, the PEA installed 81 high-voltage poles (22 kV), 101 low-voltage poles, and three 30 kVA transformers. This infrastructure development provides reliable electricity access to 48 households in the village.
