A 23-year-old man was found deceased in his bedroom in Nong Prue, Chonburi, following a two-day period of isolation.
On the morning of September 21, 2026, local authorities in Nong Prue, Bang Lamung district, Chonburi, responded to a report of a death at a private residence. According to Khaosod Online, police and rescue teams discovered the body of a 23-year-old man, identified as Mr. Chaipol, inside his bedroom. Evidence at the scene indicated the death was a result of suicide, with cannabis paraphernalia found near the bed.
The victim’s 49-year-old mother reported that her son had been struggling with depression and had been isolated for two days prior to the discovery. She noted that his mobile phone had been broken for approximately a week, further limiting his social contact. While the mother confirmed that her son had previously undergone rehabilitation for drug use, he continued to use cannabis. She also mentioned that he had recently requested money from her to purchase cannabis, which she had declined.
