On the morning of September 21, 2026, local authorities in Phatthalung discovered the body of a 65-year-old man inside a parked 10-wheel truck along the Phetkasem Road, heading toward Hat Yai. According to Khaosod Online, the victim, identified as Mr. Saneh, had been parked near a local restaurant.
Police and medical personnel from Phatthalung Hospital arrived at the scene following a report at 9:00 AM. Preliminary investigations revealed that the man had been deceased for at least six hours. Inside the vehicle, officers found a mosquito coil that had been lit, presumably to ward off insects while the driver slept. Additionally, several medications for underlying health conditions were discovered in the cabin.
