B.Grimm Power Expands Energy Portfolio in Malaysia and Vietnam
Thai energy firm B.Grimm Power has announced plans to develop new gas-fired power plants in Malaysia and Vietnam to support rising demand from data centers.
According to a report by Prachachat Business, B.Grimm Power is set to expand its regional footprint by developing Independent Power Producer (IPP) projects in Malaysia and Vietnam. The company plans to construct facilities with a capacity of 1,500 megawatts in each country, focusing on both gas-fired power plants and renewable energy sources.
Nopadej Karnasuta, Chief Executive Officer of B.Grimm Power, stated that this strategic expansion is designed to meet the growing electricity demand driven by the rapid development of data centers and the broader digital industry in Southeast Asia. By increasing its regional capacity, the company aims to secure a stronger position in the ASEAN energy market.
