KMUTNB Rayong Students Win Sriracha Hackathon 2026
A team from KMUTNB Rayong secured first place at the Sriracha Hackathon 2026 with a digital innovation project focused on sustainable community living.
On September 11, 2026, a student team named 'SourcePeak' from the Faculty of Business Administration at King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), Rayong Campus, won the Sriracha Hackathon 2026. The competition, held under the theme 'AI & Digital Green Innovation for Sustainable Future,' challenged university students across Thailand to develop digital solutions for long-term sustainability.
The winning project, titled 'Smart Green Living & Sustainable Community,' was recognized for its potential to address environmental and community challenges through digital technology. The event was organized by Kasetsart University, Sriracha Campus, in collaboration with various public and private sector partners, including ZETTA SOFT, KUBIC, the Digital Advancement Team (DAT), the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa), and Thai Oil Public Company Limited.
For residents and visitors, this achievement highlights the growing focus on digital innovation and sustainability within Thailand's academic and tech sectors. Such initiatives often lead to practical applications that may eventually influence local infrastructure or community services. While the students have been awarded for their conceptual framework, details regarding the commercial implementation or specific deployment of their 'Smart Green Living' model remain to be confirmed by the organizers and the university.
