Five Suspects Flee After Shooting Incident in Yala City
A violent confrontation involving gunfire between two groups of youths in Yala city resulted in two serious injuries after a motorcycle crash.
On the afternoon of September 20, 2026, a violent incident occurred on Thetsaban 4 Road in Yala city, near Mana Suksa School. According to reports from Khaosod Online, a group of five individuals on two motorcycles pursued their rivals through the city, firing shots during the chase.
While no one was struck by gunfire, the pursuit caused the victims' motorcycle to lose control and crash violently in front of a convenience store. The two individuals on the motorcycle sustained serious injuries and were provided emergency first aid by the Mae Thapthim Yala rescue team before being rushed to Yala Regional Hospital. The five suspects involved in the pursuit fled the scene immediately following the crash.
