On September 20, 2026, a chaotic scene unfolded at a traffic light intersection directly in front of Phran Kratai Hospital in Kamphaeng Phet province. According to a report by Khaosod Online, a group of over ten teenagers were filmed engaging in a violent confrontation, brandishing knives and throwing objects at one another in the middle of the road.
The incident occurred around 12:40 PM, disrupting traffic and causing significant alarm among motorists and pedestrians. Despite the aggressive nature of the encounter, initial reports indicate that no injuries were sustained. The participants fled the scene on motorcycles shortly after the altercation began.
This event is particularly concerning for residents and visitors due to the location’s proximity to a hospital and Wat Kutikaram, areas that experience high levels of daily foot and vehicle traffic.
