According to Khaosod Online, the committee’s study draws on lessons from the 2019, 2023, and 2026 general elections. A primary concern highlighted in the report is the structural and legal framework governing the Election Commission (EC). The committee suggests that the EC’s current discretionary power in making final rulings on electoral disputes lacks credibility, citing past controversies such as the handling of incidents involving political parties distributing water at polling stations.
