Missing Person Found Deceased in Chonburi Forest
A 65-year-old man reported missing for three days was discovered deceased in a wooded area in Chonburi province.
On September 20, 2026, local authorities in Chonburi province were alerted to the discovery of a body in a dense forest area near Soi Pacha Khaek, Nong Ri sub-district. According to Khaosod Online, police and rescue teams arrived at the scene approximately 100 meters from the main road after family members, who were searching for the individual, detected a foul odor.
The deceased was identified as 65-year-old Mr. Thongpon, who had been reported missing by his family since September 17. Relatives had been actively searching for him along routes he frequently traveled before making the discovery.
