A 35-year-old driver crashed into a shop and two motorcycles in Chonburi, with police discovering an open beer bottle in the vehicle.
On the night of September 19, 2026, a 35-year-old woman driving a Honda Accord caused a series of accidents in the Nong Prue sub-district of Bang Lamung, Chonburi. According to Khaosod Online, the driver first collided with a sidecar motorcycle and a local grocery store, causing significant property damage to the shop and an adjacent cannabis outlet. Instead of stopping, the driver fled the scene.
Local residents pursued the vehicle for approximately three kilometers. During the flight, the driver struck another motorcycle, leaving two people with serious injuries. Emergency responders from the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation arrived to provide first aid and transport the victims to a hospital. Police officers from the Nong Prue station intercepted the vehicle and discovered an open bottle of beer inside. The driver was taken into custody for alcohol testing.
