Suspect 'Meng Pak Dam' Detained Over Outstanding Warrant
Authorities have detained a man known as 'Meng Pak Dam' on drug-related charges, while the suspect denies allegations of motorcycle theft.
On September 19, 2026, police from Sutthisan Station transferred Mr. Phanuwat, widely known as 'Meng Pak Dam,' to the Phra Khanong Criminal Court for detention. The suspect is currently facing charges related to the unauthorized possession of a Category 2 psychotropic substance (ketamine).
During the transfer, Mr. Phanuwat addressed recent allegations regarding the theft of a motorcycle from a minor. He denied these claims, asserting that the current legal action stems from an old case. He explained that he had borrowed a motorcycle from a youth only because his own vehicle’s chain had broken, and he needed transportation to meet an acquaintance. He further claimed that he was unaware of the outstanding warrant because he was receiving treatment at Srithanya Hospital and was subsequently released from Nonthaburi Prison without being notified of the pending legal matter.
