Motorcyclist Injured After Road Rage Incident with Truck in Rayong
A factory worker was hospitalized following a collision with a 22-wheel truck in Rayong, triggered by a road rage dispute over a honked horn.
On September 18, 2026, a road rage incident occurred on a road in Nikhom Phatthana District, Rayong, resulting in a collision between a 22-wheel truck and a motorcycle. According to Khaosod Online, the incident began when the truck driver honked once to signal an intent to pass the motorcyclist, who had been weaving through traffic.
Dashcam footage captured the motorcyclist reacting aggressively to the signal, repeatedly cutting in front of the truck, slowing down, and accelerating to prevent the truck from passing. Despite the truck driver’s attempts to maintain a safe distance, the motorcyclist eventually slowed down directly in front of the vehicle, leading to a collision that caused the motorcycle to overturn. The motorcyclist sustained multiple injuries and was transported to Nikhom Phatthana Hospital by the Sawang Phon Kusol Rayong rescue team.
