Thai Airways Expands Fleet and Routes for Upcoming Winter Season

Thai Airways has unveiled its operational strategy for the upcoming winter season, spanning from October 25, 2026, to March 27, 2027. According to CEO Chai Eamsiri, the airline is focusing on fleet optimization and service enhancements to maintain financial stability, following a reported net profit of 1.537 billion baht in the second quarter of 2026.

To improve operational efficiency, the airline is restructuring its fleet to utilize four specific aircraft types. This initiative is paired with upgrades to onboard amenities, including seating, entertainment systems, and catering services, aimed at improving the overall passenger experience.

Commercial Chief Kittiphong Sarasam-boon confirmed that the winter schedule will feature 66 domestic and international routes. A notable addition to the network is the new round-trip service between Bangkok and Da Nang, Vietnam. The airline is also increasing flight frequencies to various European destinations to meet anticipated high-season demand.
