Fatal Stabbing Incident Reported at Chonburi Condominium
A 35-year-old woman is in police custody following a fatal stabbing of her partner in a Chonburi condominium during a domestic dispute.
On the morning of September 18, 2026, local authorities in Chonburi province responded to a fatal domestic incident at a condominium complex. According to Khaosod Online, police were called to a seventh-floor unit at approximately 4:30 a.m. following reports of a violent altercation.
Upon arrival, officers found 35-year-old Ms. Peeranee (surname withheld) at the scene in a state of shock. Inside the room, they discovered her 36-year-old partner, Mr. Ekapong (surname withheld), suffering from a single stab wound to the left side of his chest. Despite immediate CPR efforts by rescue personnel from the Thammaratsami Maneerat Foundation, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Preliminary reports indicate the incident stemmed from a dispute over the victim’s mobile phone, with the suspect alleging she acted in self-defense after suspecting her partner of infidelity. The suspect remains in custody as the Mueang Chonburi Police Station conducts a formal investigation.
