The GSB Youth Sports Festival 2026 has concluded its regional qualifiers, with Sukhothai Wittayakhom School claiming the final spot for the national championship.
According to Khaosod Online Thailand, the sixth and final regional leg of the GSB Youth Sports Festival 2026 recently concluded in Chiang Rai. This event finalized the selection process for the national championship, which will feature 36 teams across three sports: men's football, men's basketball, and women's volleyball, with 12 teams per category.
The highlight of the Chiang Rai leg was the men's under-18 football final between Sukhothai Wittayakhom School and Wachiralai School. The match ended in a 2-2 draw, forcing a penalty shootout to determine the winner and the final qualifier for the national stage. Sukhothai Wittayakhom ultimately secured their place in the upcoming tournament.
